'The .44 Magnum' Vintage large frame double action revolver chambered in .44 Magnum, manufactured circa 1956. Features a polished blued finish, pinned 6 1/2" heavy barrel with partially serrated wide sighting rib, raised ramp front sight with red insert, adjustable micrometer click rear sight with white outline, fluted six-shot cylinder with counterbored chambers, shrouded ejector rod, serrated .500 target trigger, .500" target hammer, four screw square butt N target frame with ten-groove grip straps and two-piece diamond checkered Goncalo Alves target grips with silver S&W medallions. Includes a factory black pebble grain leatherette presentation case with a blue satin lined fitted interior, clasp style latch, brush & screwdriver. Revolver exhibits approximately 94% of it's original blued finish showing light edge wear, a couple nicks in the trigger guard, a bright drag line on the cylinder and some dulling. Action is smooth with very good lock-up, the bore is pristine, and the wood grips are fine. Condition in NRA Very Good+++ in case. ***C&R Firearm***
